Job Title General Manager - Claim Specialist for Schedule Delay Analysis Reporting • Report to the project person (delegated by project manager) who has been assigned to coordinate time & Cost impact analysis
• Report to Team Leader of Contract Management Dept & Executive Vice President of Contracts Management & Legal Position • Delay Analyst in HQ to support all the companies EPC Projects Job Description - Overall • Supervises schedule monitoring, evaluation, analysis and recovery plan development activities for each project regarding Contract Issues.
• Analyzes the Overall Schedule impact including relevant Action(Permit / Storage Fee / resource loading etc.,) as well as limited to estimate Time Impact for the event
• Must be proficient in P6 and must have delay cost tracking experience for analysis of Planning and Scheduling for the project .
• Prepare Extension of Time (EoT) submission to cover the delays suffered by the project to date.
• Proficiency in Schedule Risk Analysis in order to establish probablisitic completion date for ongoing projects in delay Job Description Corresponding Client
• Able to interface with Client, Project and sub-contractors when schedule problems are encountered.
• Analyze and evaluate schedule risks using a risk tool and be able to present to client.
• Leads the timely preparation and submission of impact analysis.
• Generate proper reports with Contractual Entitlement to Client, often with visual aids such as bar charts, graphs and Dash boards with logic and resource interlinks.
• Establish project's entitlement with Contract Issues, and develops and states of Time Impacts. Corresponding Project
• Recommends solutions or recovery plans to schedule impact or delays to each Project.
• Proactively assesses progress, completion forecasts and provides solutions to mitigate schedule delays or to optimize project completion.
• Identify any scope or other changes or additions that may impact the cost & schedule of the project during the analysis.
• Assist project planner with developing a Proposal Schedule if requested.
• Assist project planner with developing a Master Schedule if requested.
• Be able to prepare a recovery plan using the impacted program as the basis. Overall
• Liaise with Engineering and Construction when contract issues are raised to make all mecessary adjustments to the schedules and scope to reflect contract requirement

• Leads integrating the impacts of the multi-site, engineering, procurement, construction and start-up planning and scheduling efforts.
• Monitors schedule delay of all projects and provides EoT strategy. Time Impact
• Supervise and support of critical path schedules based on engineering, procurement and construction philosophies for the project using Primavera P6 when Contractual Issue occurs.
• Supervise and maintain an accurate and reliable progress basis for Contract's aspects of the work
• Check for Baseline Schedule and Analyze time Impact with "Project Management Dept." when needed to revise the schedule due to changes in the project.
- Monitor engineering production of design deliverables and their impacts against the construction schedule.
- Monitor procurement and material delivery dates and their impacts on the construction schedules
- Prepare overall progress impact and manpower forecasts for construction utilizing roll-up techniques
- Supervise and maintain an accurate and reliable progress basis for all aspects of contractual Issue
- Schedule Activity Reviews and identify potential schedule impacts resulting from engineering and procurement schedule delays
- Conduct changed schedule risk analysis on a periodic basis
- Identify new critical path work, if any.
• Analyzes variances in schedule performance against before and after the Contract Issues, and communicates the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed plans to the project team.
• Select appropriate methods, techniques and the sequence of events in order to analyze the Critical Path.
• Perform planning for the different levels of the schedule hierarchy: contract, and detailed activity planning within a project, and coordination of the contract with the program.
• Review the Baseline Schedule and rectify the incomplete logic to provide a sound basis for delay analysis.

Cost Impact
• Analyzes variances in cost against before and after the Contract Issues, and communicates the reasons for the issuance of variance and informed Cost impacts to Client.
• Recommends solutions or recovery plans to cost impact to each Project.
• Perform the Delay Analysis, calculation of associated prolongation costs and prepare the Extension of Time and Increased Cost claim document.

Monitor
• Work with construction contractors as required when schedule problems are encountered Basic Job Requirements • Minimum of 15 years Project Total Experience
- Minimum of 3 years project controls experience in Cost Risk Analysis/scheduling/Project Controls
- Minimum of 5 years in large EPC project experience(Project Management) in engineering and construction related.
- Minimum of 5 years in Contracts & Commercial Management/ Claims & Dispute Management
• Demonstrated ability to lead independently on complex Contract issues.
• Demonstrated capability to schedule complex engineering and construction projects.
• Experience working with Primavera P6
• Prior supervisory experience is considered an asset.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
