Booth Welsh require Project Engineers Nationwide throughout the whole of the UK to work within the Nuclear sector. We have strong client relationships within this sector and have longevity of work for engineers looking for longer term temporary work leading to permanent engagement. We can place people on various different sites dependant on where they are based.
The role will require the specification of work packages, by surveying the job to produce the work order cards for the tasks to be carried by the respective trades.
The work will require the individual to have either served a trade apprenticeship with in the region of 5 years’ experience on an industrial site, or be degree qualified in an engineering discipline.
Knowledge of the following will be an advantage;
An Asset Work Management Specification System
Understanding of Risk Assessments
Understanding on the need for safety documents
Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office programmes
An understanding of how work is planned and actioned to allow for the production of the Work Order Cards in a systematic order
Ideally will be vetted and security cleared to work on a Nuclear Power Station, but we are willing to wait on people getting vetted themselves after a successful interview.
Familiar with Nuclear systems, processes and procedures ideally.
There is always the potential for travel here throughout the UK and we would look to engage with people who are comfortable with travelling UK wide at times too.
