Job Purpose
To support current projects and other future onshore and offshore projects.
Job Main Challenges
• To assist the Lead for the Project that he or she is involved in, in terms of developing quality deliverables within the schedule and cost, and adhering to HSE requirements.
• Shall be familiar with relevant international standards, company standards and local regulations related to Environmental.
Main Accountabilities
1)To be able to work independently with minimum supervision and able to meet the Project schedule, cost and quality. Able to interact with other discipline engineers.
2)Apart from the above, the Senior Environmental Engineer is also required to perform the followings:
• Assist the Head of Safety Discipline in ensuring good quality design outputs, as per the relevant procedures.
• Assist in generating Master Deliverables Register (MDR) with deliverables related to Environment and Health.
• Generate Loss Environment and / or Health deliverables on time and within manhour budget.
• Carry out Inter Discipline Check (IDC) on other discipline deliverables as and when required.
• Interact with other disciplines and with clients on Environmental / Health matters.
• Able to defend and answer comments on Environmental / Health reports, drawings and calculations generated.
• Participate and provide constructive inputs at meetings and design review sessions.
• Liaise with Project team, other disciplines, Clients and third party as required by Lead Technical Safety Engineer.
• To produce high quality work within the allocated manhours and schedule.
• Able to facilitate Environmental related workshops.
You are meant for this job if
• Degree holder in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science / Environmental Management / Chemistry / Civil / Chemical Engineering.
• Ten (10) years and above relevant experience.
• Strong background related to GHG accounting / CFA study, EIA studies, air and water quality modeling studies.
• Able to facilitate ENVID and / or ALARP workshops will be advantageous.
• Excellent people management in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willing to take up fixed term employment.
